This class can be taken either using traditional medium or digital (ie. iPad, must bring your own digital devices)

This class will help students develop memorable and engaging characters for comics, illustration, animation, and other types of visual storytelling. We will draw on real-life references as well as imagination to explore how anatomy, expressions, body language, and costuming all inform a character's personality and history. We will work with both human and non-human characters to explore a range of shapes, proportions, and styles.
