Exploring sculpture, polymer clay, cardboard engineering, and mixed media art

This is a hands-on mixed media art class where students explore building, sculpting, and designing using materials such as polymer clay, cardboard, paper, wire, recycled materials, and more.

Through playful experimentation and guided projects, students will transform simple materials into imaginative sculptures, creatures, miniature worlds, functional objects, and original works of art. Along the way, we’ll explore concepts such as structure, balance, texture, storytelling, character design, and creative problem solving.

This class encourages curiosity, invention, and artistic confidence while giving students the freedom to bring their ideas to life through sculpture and creative construction.
