The two-day workshop students will learn the basic principles of color theory through painting a still life object from life. Artist/Instructor Hadas Tal will discuss local color vs. surrounding background color and how to mix colors correctly on your palette before applying to the canvas. The majority of this workshop focuses on color temperature, shading, tinting, high-saturated colors and neutral colors. By understanding the three components of color – hue, values, and chroma, efficiently and consistently, significant improvements in color rendering and paint handling are possible. Learning theses basic principle will help you build awareness to use color more effectively.
